APOSTLE JIMMIE JAMES

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Apostle Jimmie James has a Master of Arts Pastoral Studies from Seattle University School of Ministry and Theology and Doctor of Ministry degree with the National Bible College Association. He has 29 years of experience in ministry, pastoral leadership, teaching, preaching; building kingdom-minded churches, church leadership, outreach ministries, and unified church relationships. Apostle James is the Founder of WAR 180° Ministry (We Are Revival for 180° Turn for Christ) ministering to saints and the church teaching and preaching the prophetic word of God for today in preparation for the announced revival that holistically heals and transforms communities through the truth of God’s Word and Spirit. Apostle James is the Founder and Director of the School of Christ Theological Institute (SOCTI) that features sound theological Biblical teaching, with practical application as learning norms, preparing the body for effective relevant ministry in a Kingdom Context. Students not only learn disciplines as hermeneutics, evangelism, and systemic theology, but also practical compassionate ministry that teaches how to apply the learning, within and outside the buildings, to the less fortunate and those in need. Apostle James is a powerful speaker sharing God’s word and work throughout the kingdom and across denominations.
Apostle James believes to create authentic Christian communities that care; we must have a passion to make a difference outside the walls of the church. He believes the church, through Christ, is the answer to the world’s problems and our day-to-day issues with families, marriage, poverty, and everything else that is opposes Gods will. He sees that the Church today ‘is’ the opportunity to help people see the true essence of Christ’ love and power; only by our obedience to the true knowledge, understanding, and wisdom of his Spirit and His Word. His dedication to sound Biblical teaching, ministry development, and Christocentric leadership builds the body of Christ to manifest Gods Spirit by impacting the world, and helping those in need in our communities, while demonstrating compassion and dignity for all the people we serve; thus, imitating Christ.

He founded Greater Things Ministries Church and developed a nonprofit, HOPE, creating a self-sufficiency program and housing for formerly incarcerated persons and homeless in South King County, WA. Apostle James has assisted in planting churches and supporting ministries for 15 years. Conducted church services in prisons for over 20 years. His focus is making disciples, promoting unity in the body, and teaching the church to demonstrate the love and power of Christ to the world.
Apostle James believes in Kingdom work, meaning it takes all of us as Christians to work together in unity, as caring saints, and churches to do what the world systems cannot do, God’s work. He works with and encourages churches and leaders to work with other ministries. He advocates in King County, WA and the state legislature on policy and legislative issues to address the footprint of poverty. Worked with several housing organizations to fight homelessness and provides opportunities for returning community members from incarceration. He is currently launching the WAR180° Never-Ending Revival with churches, ministries, and with saints who are ready and willing move with God in their communities to reclaim our authority, love for others, and healing. His Holy Spirit-inspired motto is “God is Moving, and We’re Moving with God!”.
